Our Creator

A Texas native started tattooing professionally in 2017. Ray started his journey while serving in the United States Army as a Cavalry Scout. His passion turned into a career in Florida while attending Flight School; he was given the opportunity to open Ink Boss Tattoo Studios. After successfully running the company for 3 years he decided to move back home to Texas.

Located in New Braunfels, Texas. Ray brings his talents to his custom studio, Synthetic Dreams Tattoo Gallery since opening in 2022.

Ray specializes in Ornamental, Neo-Traditional and Black and Grey. His extensive training throughout the years has brought him a great deal of knowledge in the Japanese art form which he bases most of his art from. Every piece of art that he produces is custom and unique to each of his clientele. 

​​

Ray also has a deep passion in helping people achieve the best versions of themselves. through the use of mindfulness at its highest levels.

Originally from Kansas City, Missouri. Riley’s family owns and operates the famous chain 54th Street Restaurant and Draft house. His family's successful business endeavors brought him to San Antonio, Texas. Riley soon after discovered his creativity gift and started playing the guitar. Which led him to playing for various punk/metal bands while living in San Antonio.

 

Riley has been helping in his family's restaurant since then. Coming from this hospitality background, it has helped him pursue entrepreneurial ventures into creating his art.  Riley has been hard at work in becoming a full fledge tattoo artist for the last 3 years. Tattooing has been a staple in his life, he expresses his life experience through his art work. 

 

Now located in San Marcos, Texas with his cat Finn. He had the opportunity to meet Ray, who took him under his wing as his tattoo apprentice. Through this he has become an excellent artist. Riley enjoys tattooing American traditional. He is also open to all styles as he gains more knowledge of the industry.

Riley now tattoos along side Ray and has a focal point on helping individuals achieve their tattoo visions.

Patti Bernaden is an artist from the foothills of Appalachia. Who has made her way from small town, to the Big Apple art school, and then to the big skies of central Texas. Coming from a background of artists with cartooning and sign-painting in her grandfather's shop, she honored her skills at Pratt Institute where she studied art of many mediums. 

Her tattooing began in 2012, with a very DIY ethic until she performed her apprenticeship in San Marcos, Texas in 2020. She loves to work both in black and grey and color. Her favorite styles are traditional American and Japanese designs. She loves to incorporate pop-culture motifs and characters in traditional styles.
